At this stage I don't think that there's a problem with the mailing list being used for sending informational items such as this out, all that I do ask is that if you want to reply to just the sender then please take it off the general mailing list and make it a private conversation.

What I've also done is set up a message board on the meetup site, for if people would prefer to use that instead.
